I love Video games and I fall into it when i was a baby ...I own a Saturn , a SNES , a MD with SEGA-CD , a Game Boy , and a PC ...( and I had a 3DO , a NEO-GEO cartridge , and a Playstation ). So I can tell you why I sold my Playstation for exemple...
Games on PLAYSTATION are beautifull but I play them less time than SATURN's Games. There's much interest in Saturn's games. See for exemple Virtua Fighter 2 which is much more technical than Tekken 2 (To master a Character is longer than Tekken 2). See SEGA RALLY, in which you must master the real cars ( Ridge Racer Revolution is just Fun, not real ...).

SEGA AND BANDAI ANNOUNCE MERGER
Sega Enterprises Ltd. and Bandai have announced they will merge on October 1st to become Sega Bandai Ltd. The merger will create a "worldwide high technology company that produces both hardware and software for the home and office,"!
WORLDWIDE SATURN SALES REACH 7.16 MILLION
Sega Enterprises Ltd said that global shipments of its Sega Saturn game players by the end of December 31 totalled 7.16 million units. A company spokesman said that it was shipping 32-bit video game players at a more rapid pace than originally planned.
By the end of 1996, its shipments in Japan amounted to 4.4 million units and in the United States to 1.7 million. Its shipments in Europe by the end of 1996 totaled 900,000 units and 160,000 in other markets, the spokesman said.
"Our sales in the Christmas shopping season were as smooth as we expected but industry experts say sales of PlayStation were a little more active," the Sega spokesman said.
Theses Japaneses know what is a true game ! Not a game with superbs graphics , which can be finished in few time, but long life and real fun ! ( Everybody says that DAYTONA is not beautyfull on Saturn but me, i had a Playstation with Ridge Racer and Wipe Out, and I sold it because i was playing only with DAYTONA which is more FUN and long Life...)
And SEGA is not only selling Saturn but has many JOYPOLIS (Centers of Video Games) , sell now games on PCs with the label SEGAPC , and is the best Arcade games maker ...
